Other items you may need… 14cm Circle Die, Lilac Card and White Card

Instructions

Step 1
Take the 5×7″ white card blank and open it flat. Place the circle die so it’s half way across the front of the card and cut. This will create a crescent of card at the front leaving the back piece whole.

Step 2
Cut a piece of lilac card 5×7″ to line the inside of the back piece of card as picture

Step 3
Cut a piece of acetate 5×7″ and adhere to the inside of the front of the card by taping the three edges

Step 4
Cut the safflower and elderflower in white

Step 5
Cut the long label from the loophole label set in white and the word birthday in lilac

Step 6
With a dauber, ink the tips of the flowers and leaves with the spring pansy pad

Step 7
Shape the flowers with an embossing tool

Step 8
Stick the flowers around the edge of the cut out circle and add the leaves

Step 9
Trim the label slightly shorter than 5″ so that it slides between the card and acetate at the front; secure with a little glue

Step 10
Add the word ‘birthday’ and a flower to the label

Step 11
Finish with pearls in the centre of the flowers
