Instructions

Step 1
Create a card blank from black card to measure 16.5cm x 12.5cm

Step 2
Cut a piece of white card to measure 14.5cm x 10.5cm

Step 3
Use a blending brush to colour in stripes to create a background (we’ve used fusion ink pads dragonfruit, passionfruit, blueberry and pacific). Spritz with water

Step 4
Cut the daisy border twice from black card and adhere to your coloured background (you will just be snipping a few flowers from the second border to extend it to fit along the bottom of the card)

Step 5
Mat and layer onto blue and pink card and attach to the card blank with foam tape

Step 6
Cut the butterflies from the Elegant Tree die set in black card and dot a a few in the sky

Alternative Card

Step 1
Cut the daisy border in white and colour (we’ve used fusion ink pads in sunfruit, blueberry, kiwi and verdant)

Step 2
Emboss the brick folder in kraft card
use cloud white versamagic lightly over a couple of the bricks and round the edge to highlight

Step 3
Stick the border to the base of the brick wall and trim the excess leaving 0.5cm either end

Step 4
Mat onto black and then onto the white card blank

Step 5
Stamp a sentiment (we’ve used one from the ribbon tag sentiments set JND451 onto white card then mat and layer onto black card. Add to the card with foam tape

Step 6
Finish with sparkle gems in the flower centres
