This week’s featured card is a delightful creation using more of Jamie Rodgers Crafts Essentials Christmas Collection cutting dies, this time we will be using the Festive Foliage and Classic Poinsettia. Click here to see the full range

Instructions

Step 1
Take a sheet of Christmas red A4 card and fold in half to make a top fold card blank

Step 2
Cut the A4 cream hammered card in half to make an A5 sized piece

Step 3
Using the brand new Crafts Too 35cm professional trimmer with the wavy line blade cut 1/4″ of all four sides to create your decorative mat. Using the peanut brittle memento pad and a blending tool, ink the edges of the mat. Layer onto the card blank with foam tape.

Step 4
Cut the two largest poinsettia flowers in red

Step 5
Cut the bobbly stamen in green

Step 6
Cut the straight stamen centre in gold

Step 7
Cut the fir branches in the two greens

Step 8
Cut the holly leaves in the two greens and just the berries in red twice – snip and layer the red berries over the green on each sprig of holly. We’ve added just a touch of peanut brittle ink to the edges of the leaves and poinsettia flowers

Step 9
Cut the greeting in gold

Step 10
Assemble as picture (when adhering the leaves and flowers, just stick down one or part of one of the elements to the card to leave the other pieces ‘floating’)
