This is a blast from the past – some of you may remember Spirelli – a great craft to do in front of the television….

There are three different dies to choose from – each set can be used on their own as layering dies or you can decorate them by winding thread around the points to create a pretty pattern. Depending on which number you choose you can create many different patterns. Each pack has an instruction on the back for you to follow. Adhere your thread to the back of the die cut shape, wind around for example point 1 to 15, 2 to 16 etc and then finish by securing the thread on the back.

Once you’ve created your centrepiece of Spirelli inspired design you can layer them together with foam tape, mount them onto a card and embellish with 3d etc,
